About me

Turning obstacles into knowledge and stepping stones

Welcome to my website, a digital card showcasing who I am and what I do. Let’s start with a bit of history. I was born on Saturday, March 27, 1999—not that I remember much about the day or the years immediately after! Fast forward a bit, and by the time I was six, I had my very own computer. It was a basic machine—just a single-core processor with 1GB of memory—but to me, it was incredible. I spent hours playing games on it. Around the age of 10, my interest in computers began to evolve, marking the beginning of my journey in IT. I started taking apart old computers with a friend, rebuilding them, and swapping components to make them run smoother—mostly just so we could play games.

Up until I was about 12, I was mainly using Windows 7. But everything changed when I got involved in creating a Minecraft server. To do that, we needed a dedicated machine to host it, which kickstarted my exploration into servers. I was allowed to rent a small dedicated server for around €20 a month, where I began experimenting with Linux, Nginx, MySQL, and more. It was tough at first, but I gradually became more comfortable with the systems. I even started running Linux on my laptop and briefly on my desktop. My passion for optimizing these systems, squeezing every drop of performance out of them, led me to co-found a hosting company with friends in 2020. Though that venture was short-lived, in 2021, I launched my own hosting project, MyMcHosting, focusing on Minecraft servers, an area where I had the most experience.

The knowledge I had built over the years gave me a strong foundation for the hosting project. As it progressed and became more complex, my self-study skills truly blossomed. By 2024, my hosting company officially launched, marking the beginning of my ambition to become one of the top self-taught IT professionals in the industry.

As you might have guessed, I wasn’t the biggest fan of school. In fact, I dropped out. My school didn’t offer IT classes, so my motivation to attend was pretty low. However, all the years of self-study and hands-on experiments have paid off. I’ve gained valuable skills and experience in computers and servers—not from textbooks, but through real-life practice.

Outside of IT, I lead an active lifestyle, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. I’m passionate about bicycling, motorcycling, and archery. I strive to stay positive and fill my life with activities I enjoy because, much like a cookie, life is meant to be savored in its entirety.
